Guests Celebrate Launch of the Seventh Generation 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera

HOUSTON, TX (February 11, 2012)—indiGO Auto Group recently debuted the all-new Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S models at Porsche of North Houston. The dealership welcomed more than 300 Porsche enthusiasts during a three-hour extravaganza designed to celebrate the new and improved sports car icon.

At the event, Porsche of North Houston transformed the dealership showroom and service department into two luxurious event spaces. The interior and exterior styling, exciting contours and precisely designed features of the new 911 were evident everywhere guests turned. The state-of-the-art service area was transformed into a hip lounge spot-lighting several Porsche 911 models where guests mingled and grooved to the classically modern sounds of DIVISI Stings Collide and sipped libations provided by Bandol Wines. After the much anticipated unveiling by Dealer Principal Todd Blue and General Manager Kelly Wolf, Rosemary’s Catering captivated guests with a lavish array of fare including a raw ice bar that served ahi tuna tartar and gulf shrimp cocktail in martini glasses and a futuristic nitrogen bar of fresh, hand crafted ice creams frozen at negative 321 degrees with liquid nitrogen.

The all-new Porsche 911, the centerpiece of both the showroom and service area, was the star of the event.  The latest 911 offers first class luxury performance with an automatic start/stop function, electro-manual power steering and the world’s first seven-speed manual transmission. The 2012 911 Carrera is equipped with a new, 350-horsepower, 3.4-liter boxer engine, while the Carrera S features a 400-horsepower, 3.8-liter boxer engine.
