Porsche Enthusiasts Experience New Models with Certified Driving Instructors

 

HOUSTON, TX (November, 2011) – Porsche of North Houston recently invited a select group to Motor Speedway Ranch Houston for the Porsche of North Houston semi-annual Track Day Event. The dealership welcomed more than 80 Porsche enthusiasts for an all-day driving affair. The event gave attendees a unique opportunity to operate a sampling of Porsche models in a variety of challenging exercises demonstrating the vehicle’s race-bred ability.

 

“We want our customers to experience the passion, performance and excitement of the Porsche brand from behind the wheel,” said Dealer Principal of Porsche of North Houston Todd Blue. He added, “This event gave our customers an opportunity to discover what Porsche offers on a range of circuits.”

 

Participants experienced life in the fast lane in a 911, Cayman, Boxster and Cayenne practicing various high-performance exercises such as handling, braking, on-track driving and on-road test-drives. The event, divided into a morning and afternoon session, was led by the Porsche Sport Driving School. Instructors educated attendees on the most up to-date new model Porsche technology while demonstrating proper driving skills and techniques for the exercises.
